Putting it All Together-STEM Challenge
Lesson 8- Wrapping Up
Step 1:
Recap our brainstorm chart and what we have noticed so far throughout our unit.
Outline the STEM challenge.
Using modified ramp heights, materials and choice of slider/ rollers, students will work collaboratively to make the fastest ramp, slowest ramp and wonkiest ramp.
Step 2:
Students will work collaboratively in groups of 3 to complete each challenge. Students will be given time to explore with their groups until they think they have the best combination for the challenge. We will then time the ramps as a class and discuss why we saw the results we did.
